A modern vision and rethinking of the traditional Finnish sauna design.
Following the character of the island the object becomes part of it, dissolving into the surroundings. Architecture revealed in the contact between water and land, water and man.
The volume is made up of the outer shell of the primary wooden layer and the inner capsule of the steam room.

The project was realised as a part of "Wood program" in Aalto School of Architecture and was built by group of students.
