The pavilion is a completely new building - a meeting and relaxing space
The CLT structure allows to give the feeling of lightness with flowing roof and minimal supports. The solid wood panel walls also require no finishing and become part of the interior design
The landscape of the site creates a natural view with a contemporary feel. Local plants and meadow grasses look organic not only for the new architecture, but also for the medieval monastery
In accordance with local laws, the new house has to recreate the exterior of the early existed house—a typical log house from the 1950s
The interior evokes the joys of traditional rural life, but through a contemporary design. The upper floor is constructed of pine logs, which texture presents in the living space
Hear what the place needs and express yourself within it
Feel the time and space where the past resonates more clearly than dreams of the future
The site is located in the historic center of Suzdal and touches the wall of the Alexander's Monastery
